About our Parent Representatives

Our Parent Representatives are all Parents and Carers who give up their time and experience to help other families. 
They all have experience of caring for children/young people with additional needs/disabilities.
 
Our Parent Representatives are interested in hearing about:-
 
Problems you've had with services.
 
Examples of good services.
 
Suggestions on how services could be made better.
 
Examples of services that would help your child or family.


Our Parent Representatives attend multi-agency planning meetings and working groups across Leicester City, Leicestershire County and Rutland.

Parental Supporters will help you deal with a variety of issues such as giving you help with Disability and Carers' benefits, Special Educational Needs, Mediation & Tribunals. We can help with the form filling as well.
